100% Chardonnay, 2g/ltr. Made from a tiny single vineyard by which it is named. Exquisitely layered wine. Clean, crisp and pure front end. The palate delivers loads of wonderfully exotic flavours. Aniseed. The finish is fleshy, lateral and long. A delightful wine. House Profile These guys have been knocking it out of the park over the last few years. The house dates back to the early 20th Century but has been given a new lease of life with the introduction of Clemente and Antoine in the last decade or so. They work with 44 plots in Cramant, Mesnil, Chouilly, Oiry and Oger but have key plots in the fabulous single vineyards of Chetillons and Mont Aigu among others. They produce wines that are beautifully honest to the terroir and I can’t wait to see what the next few years brings for them.
