A beautiful use of oak linking the juicy fruit with a nice, complex sweetness on the mid to late. We were really impressed with the structure of this wine and just how easily the delicious fruit came across. House Profile The Brochet name bounds around the region of Champagne and beyond. But not this one. Until now. Having tasted several hundred wines during an exhausting trip to Champagne, we came across this magic producer and the wine jumped out of the glass at us. Based in the village of Ecueil in the north west of the region, they produce masterfully juicy, rich wines from their ample 13 hectare holdings. They hold both VD and HVE and you sense that honesty, thought and precision in their wines.
