See the original factory that inspired the Steven Spielberg film Schindlerandrsquo;s List, and lots more, on this walking tour of Krakowandrsquo;s Jewish district.
The 3-4 hour tour begins in the district of Kazimierz. Originally founded as a separate town where Jews had the right to settle, it is now the historical centre of Krakowandrsquo;s Jewish religious and social life.
One of the tour highlights is visiting Schindler’s Factory, where during WWII Oskar Schindler saved Jews from labour camps by giving them employment. His story went on to be told in the film Schindlerandrsquo;s List.

Szeroka Street – a remnant of the former market square
The Old Synagogue, Isaac’s Synagogue and Remuh Synagogue
The Podgorze quarter – the Jewish Housing District, otherwise known as the ghetto
Plaszow Camp Memorial – a monument commemorating those who died in Krakowandrsquo;s largest concentration camp
