After boarding the boat, you’ll pass the ancient city of Caunos en route to Dalyan.

Dalyan has many therapeutic hot springs, which, containing healing elements and sulphur, are believed to cure rheumatism, skin, liver, spleen and bowel complaints as well as being beneficial for nervous and digestive disorders.

The famous mud baths (from which you are said to emerge looking ten years younger!), are also believed to remedy skin conditions. Once you have smothered yourself in the mud you wait for few minutes allowing it to dry. You can then clean yourself in the sulphur pool. The mud baths remain at a constant temperature of approx 40 degrees.

You’ll also have the chance to take pictures of the Lycian Rock Tombs that have survived for about 2,500 years. Dalyan is the second largest beach in Turkey, so you can relax and top up your tan or swim in the warm Mediterranean waters.

If you are lucky, you may see the Caretta Caretta (loggerhead turtles) who still breed here. This trip is a wonderful, memorable experience and not to be missed.
