Description
Atlas Plus – Domestic Water Softener System INSTALLATION & USE The Atlas Domestic Water Softeners should be installed in accordance with water regulations. If the daytime pressure exceeds 4.76 bar, a pressure reducing valve is recommended. Unvented systems and combination boilers which require high flow rates can be installed using 22mm or 28mm pipework as required. Atlas Plus 9L: suitable for family households with up to four people. Compact size makes installation in tight spaces easy – ideal for fitting in kitchen cupboards. Atlas Plus 20L: optimum solution for larger homes with higher water softening demand. High capacity salt storage makes for easier use and the unit can be easily installed in utility rooms, basements etc. For 1-3 occupants we would recommend the 9l unit, for 3 or more we would suggest going for the 20l unit. Please note: The salt would need to be replenished every 6-8 weeks depending on usage. Hard Water Problems? Water is an essential part of our everyday life. We drink it, wash our bodies and hair with it, clean our clothes with it, even heat our homes with it and yet we seldom pay attention to its effects. If you live in a hard water area you’ll soon know! – Hard water causes mineral deposits to remain on the skin, hair and clothes. – It clogs pipes, water tanks and boilers – reducing efficiency and increasing energy bills. – It discolours sinks, baths, shower cubicles, toilets and taps. – Its deposits form limescale which reduces the effectiveness of household appliances such as washing machines. Soft Water Benefits See and feel the difference! – Baths, shower enclosures and sinks are no longer stained by mineral deposits. – Usage and spend on detergents and shampoos is reduced by up to 50% – Appliances last longer and maintenance costs are reduced. – Energy bills can be reduced by at least 10% – Skin condition can improve noticeably. People with eczema have seen significant improvement with the use of soft water. – Hair feels softer and clothes are softer, whiter and brighter – Time is saved cleaning and no need to use harsh chemicals to remove limescale deposits. FEATURES – High performance patented valve technology delivers market leading performance and reliability. – Optimised performance – uses significantly less salt and water than conventional softeners. – Monitors your water usage and adapts to your needs; softened water is always available on demand. – High flow rates, low pressure loss – suitable for all plumbing systems.
