Sensational Alliums! Placing bulbs in groups will produce beautiful full of colour spring displays. Don’t plant bulbs too close to each other leave a 12-15cm gap giving them space to grow. If planting in containers the bulbs can be planted closer together, still not touching. Alliums are ideal for beds and borders, patio pots and containers. Excellent for cut and dried flowers. Producing masses of purple rounded flowers up to 10cm across. Also known as the Persian Onion these fragrant alliums, are perfect for attracting butterflies and bees. Recommended planting time Autumn before the risk of frost allowing them time to root in, plant in well drained soil.
