From the good 2001 vintage and scoring 87-89/100 Parker points, “A fine second wine, the stylish 2001 Bahans Haut-Brion offers abundant quantities of black currant fruit intermixed with spice and subtle earth notes. With medium body, outstanding purity, and a sweet attack, it will drink well for a dozen or so years. Approximately 30% of the crop made it into this cuvee.” Drink now – 2026.
