Description
The Arman Bottle for the 1981 Vintage. Arman is known for his “accumulation” sculptures, which are created not from conventional materials but from a fusion of many already existing, similar, ordinary objects or accumulated parts of one object. A strong Cubist background informed his “Colères” exhibition, a violent dismembering of artifacts and musical instruments, notably violins, which randomly echo their fragmented forms. The 1981 vintage was of exceptional quality, but a smaller than average harvest restricted production of this Collection bottling. The 1981 Brut Vintage is characterized by a delicacy of structure, elegance on the palate and a subtle complexity in the classic Taittinger style.
