1900 Borges Quinta Do Junco Vineyard Vintage Tawny Port 1900

This rare tawny port from the 1900 vintage was produced by Antionio Borges, owner of Quinta do Junco and the Borges & Irmao Bank. The port wine was kept in cask until 1947, when he had the wine bottled at the Company’s cellars in Vila Nova de Gaia and reserved for the personal enjoyment of the Borges family. Upon his death the wine was divided amongst his three daughters and this bottle is from the remaining part of one of these three parcels. It was recorked by Borges in 1982. The bottle was purchased by Barbara Broccolli and was presented by her and Michael Wilson, the Producer, to the recipient who worked on the James Bond Film ‘The world is not enough’ in 1999.
